Breaking Away, Inc.

Breaking Away was established in 1996 by Rose Marie Bell. We have a board of directors that consists of honorable figures in the community. Breaking Away has 33 volunteers who man our phone 24/7, 365 days a year. Breaking Away is a complete volunteer organization, with no paid positions.

We help victims of domestic violence break away from their abusers. We provide shelter, food, transportation in an emergency situation in Grundy County.
