Illinois Volunteer Money Management Program 
This program offers money management service to help low income senior adults, age
60 and older, or persons with disabilities that have been victims of exploitation or
other forms of abuse. It helps those who have difficulty budgeting, paying routine bills
and keeping track of financial matters. The program’s goal is to promote and prolong
independent living for individuals who are at risk of losing their independence due to
an inability to manage their financial affairs. The program uses trained and screened
adult volunteers to assist individuals who do not have friends or relatives to help.
Eligibility guidelines apply; there is no cost to eligible seniors.

The group is currently comprised of both medical and non-medical volunteers who assist in a variety of roles alongside our Health Department Staff.

While training and preparing for All-Hazards emergencies the volunteers assist with community outreach and education.

Community outreach and education involves volunteers (medical/non-medical) promoting healthy lifestyles whether it is diet, exercise, health screenings, in addition to preparing individuals’ families for emergencies that have the potential to strike in Grundy County.

Our parking lot shuttle is coming soon! We're responding to the needs and request of our patients by starting a parking lot shuttle to take people from their vehicles to the Morris Hospital building.

This new volunteer opportunity is for those who enjoy interacting with people & helping them navigate a busy parking lot. The shuttle is a comfortable, heated, easy to drive electric vehicle, much like an enclosed golf cart.
