At this one day event, children are partnered with local first responder heroes and shop for necessities such as coats, hats, gloves, boots, shoes, and clothes. After shopping, the children get to share a meal with Santa and their special heroes while also taking an opportunity to shop for toys in Santa's toy shop.
This event will take place at First Christian in Morris and Morris Wal-Mart.
Volunteers are needed for:
- Shopping with children @ Walmart (please note you will riding on a bus with children and heroes from the church to Walmart and back)
- Assisting in Toyland at First Christian Church
- Registration
- Coordinating families, volunteers and Heroes during this busy day
- Help with Santa photos
- And other duties as needed
This is a fun filled day with a lot heart filled memories.
